We would like to invite you to participate in the international competition of research projects “Modern mechanisms for ensuring financial security”. It is possible to become a participant for a bachelor’s, master’s, specialty and postgraduate students.
The proposed topic covers an extensive list of both theoretical and applied issues, such as:
- Analysis and modeling of phishing methods in social networks.
- Analysis of motivations and mechanisms of youth involvement in financial crimes
- Introduction of anti-fraud systems in the AML/CFT sphere: current practices and problems.
- Harmonization of the BRICS countries ‘ legislative and enforcement approaches to settlements using digital assets and digital currencies.
- Using blockchain technology to increase the transparency and security of financial product supply chains.
- International experience in identifying, preventing, and suppressing offenses in the financial sphere involving young people and minimizing the risks of their involvement in this activity.
- Mechanisms for the development of the international financial security movement.
- Assessment of security risks of mobile banking applications on the Android and iOS platforms.
- Legal mechanism for countering the use of virtual assets in illegal activities: problems and solutions.
- Application of artificial intelligence technologies in ensuring financial security.
- Countering the use of payment instruments in drops for illegal purposes.
- Development of a model for assessing the risk of financial transactions
involving virtual assets.
- Development of a system for detecting anomalies in transactions
using machine learning to prevent fraudulent transactions.
- The role of international organizations in the context of AML / CFT.
- Digital transformation of the financial monitoring system.
The competition is held in 2 stages. Thesis should meet the following requirements are accepted for participation in the competition:
- Relevance and scientific novelty (including practice-oriented).
- data points up to 7000 characters with spaces.
- the originality of the text is not less than 70%
- at least 5 literature sources.
Terms of the contest:
- Submission of applications: April 15, 2025-June 15, 2025
- Announcement of participants in the face-to-face stage: August 15, 2025
- Full-time stage (UNN-based conference): until September 30, 2025
- Performance of the winner of the competition at the Olympiad final:
September 30, 2025
